Wildly Wealthy believes in giving a hand up rather than a hand out and a portion of all purchases through Wildly Wealthy goes directly to making a difference.
We know women can transform the planet. When you change one woman’s life it creates a ripple effect like a pebble in a pond… it changes her family’s life and those close to her, which in turn can affect a community and when communities change, a state, a country and ultimately the world can transform.
We believe it all starts with inspiring children to love education and learning, and then empowering women to become the best they can be and make a difference – starting in their own life and then creating that ripple effect.
We are committed to making big changes in the world. You’ll find it gratifying to know that when you purchase our products or programs YOU TOO are will be transforming our planet!
Imagine the difference we can make when tens of thousands of other Wildly Wealthy women are giving too.
Our current charity project is aimed at supporting those living in Nepal which was devastated by the 2015 earthquake. Although the quake was more than 5 years ago, progress is slow and many schools across the region have crumbled. Having traveled to Nepal in 2017 and seeing first hand the impact its had on the region, along with my love of books, I felt this was the ideal project for me and my community.
With over 24,000 classrooms damaged or destroyed, although re-building has commenced, more help is needed. Education can transform a child’s life and we’re determined to do whatever we can.
I Love Room to Read, because I LOVE to read! I know the difference its made in my life, and I want to make that same difference in others lives.
Many of the world problems can be addressed through one solution: education. Why? Because knowing how to read makes people safer, healthier and more self-sufficient — yet nearly 800 million people are illiterate and two thirds are women and girls.
So Wildly Wealthy is supporting Room to Read’s Girl’s Education program. As they say, when you educate a girl, everything changes.
Opportunity International empowers enthusiastic, but poverty stricken people around the world to start and sustain micro-businesses.
We have set up a number of trust banks in third world countries, offering micro-loans to women in poverty, supporting them to start their own small business venture and break the poverty cycle.
Our largest single donation to date for $40,000 enabled thousands of impoverished women around the globe to grab that hand up and make a difference in their own life, in their families lives and in their community.
In Bali alone, businesses set up through direct microloans from one of our Trust Bank donations included fifteen variety shops, six vendors selling a variety of foods including rice, cakes, fruit and vegetables, one clothing store, one canteen and one shop selling spare parts.
Wildly Wealthy will continue to support Opportunity International to educate, empower and change women’s lives around the world.
We love Pencils for Promise, because it’s a global community that believes everyone deserves access to quality education. PoP began with a question Adam Braun asked a small boy begging in the streets of India. “What do you want most in the world?” “A pencil,” he replied.
Adam reached into his backpack, handed the boy his pencil, and watched as a wave of possibility washed over him. Over the next five years, Adam backpacked through more than 50 countries, handing out thousands of pens and pencils across six continents. It was from these humble beginnings that PoP was founded.
Adam started Pencils of Promise with a deposit of just $25. He set out to prove that small donations could make a big difference. His first fundraising activity was his 25th birthday party, where he asked guests to make a $20 donation at the door instead of a gift.
As Adam says “Pencils of Promise is now a global movement of passionate individuals, many of which are the most dynamic and impactful leaders we have ever seen. They are committed to supporting a world with greater educational opportunity for all”
Since 2009 PoP has built 353 schools serving 33,833 students. When you educate a child and inspire them to love learning, you change their life forever. I’ve already helped build one school for PoP and aim to build many more in the future!
We just love Kiva for their slogan ‘Dreams are universal, opportunity is not”. Kiva is currently making a difference in 83 countries with over $850 million being lent to those who need a hand up around the world. Our latest Kiva loans helped women in Cambodia have safe drinking water for their family and in India we funded Chhabi so she could buy a cow for her milk selling business.
